Acting was also a way for him to escape all his misery. “I was an unhappy kid because my father’s depression was overwhelming me,” he said. His mother left the family at an early age, and he grew up with his father and brother in a backyard room without heating.

He seized the opportunity: after training at the Cours Simon drama school, François Cluzet soon enjoyed his first successes in the theater – cinema and television were soon to follow. But in the intoxication of success, Cluzet lost himself more and more to alcohol.

It was only when the range of roles became increasingly scarce and he ran the risk of losing sight of the dream of his childhood that he drew a radical line. “I went to the best restaurant in Paris and ordered the most expensive wine on the menu, a Château Petrus. That was my last glass – until today,” he told the “Stern” a while ago. That was many, many years ago.

François Cluzet has worked with the greats of French cinema. With Bertrand Tavernier he made the jazz film “Round Midnight” (1986), for Claude Chabrol he went through “Die Hölle” (1994) and in “Small True Lies” as a jealous husband who completely loses touch with reality. 2011) by Guillaume Canet, he belongs to a group of friends who have to face their life lies.

Most recently, François Cluzet was released in German cinemas with “A village goes blank”. In the comedy he plays a mayor in Normandy who tries to persuade the local farmers to undress for a photo project by a prominent artist. The aim is to give the suffering village the necessary media attention.

Bonn (dpa) – Catholics in Germany are no longer excluded from communion after divorce and remarriage. This has been decided by the German Bishops’ Conference.

She thus drew the conclusions from the papal letter on family and love, “Amoris Laetitia”, from last spring.

Pope Francis has underlined the importance of the decision of conscience, announced the bishops in Bonn on Wednesday. Therefore, in individual cases a decision to receive the Eucharist should be respected. The decision-making process should be accompanied by a pastor. This is not a general release, emphasized the bishops: “Not all believers whose marriage has broken up and who are civilly divorced and remarried can receive the sacraments without discrimination.”

So far, divorced people are not allowed to go to communion after a new marriage because, according to Catholic teaching, they live in grave sin. For almost a year, the Catholic bishops in Germany had struggled to find a common pastoral word in order to implement the Pope’s letter uniformly in all dioceses.

Conservative bishops warned that the release of the sacraments would call into question the doctrine of the indissolubility of marriage. The German cardinals Joachim Meisner and Walter Brandmüller therefore opposed the course taken by the Pope. Together with two other cardinals from Italy and the United States, they asked Francis last autumn to clarify allegedly ambiguous passages.

The Bishops’ Conference also announced that it wanted to improve the offers for marriage preparation. Pastoral care for married couples must also be strengthened.

The Central Committee of German Catholics and the Catholic lay movement “We are Church” welcomed the letter. “We are Church” regretted, however, “that it took more than nine months before the German bishops were able to agree on common statements”. From an ecumenical point of view, especially in the year of the commemoration of the Reformation, the German bishops’ statement was disappointing that “even in interdenominational marriages full communion in the Lord’s Supper should still not be possible”.

“Suddenly Papa” deals with a popular topic: Father against his will. In the tragic comedy, Omar Sy fights his way through as a single father.

Samuel knows how to enjoy life: women, sun and lots of fun. A life that could go on forever. But one day one of his ex-girlfriends shows up with a three-month-old baby.

Just as unexpectedly as Kristin came, she disappears again – but without her daughter. Little Gloria left her to the amazed Samuel, who wants everything except no child. However, when the young woman reports back eight years later and wants her girl back, father and daughter have become an inseparable team.

A good mood film turns into drama

“Suddenly Papa” is a tragic comedy by the French director Hugo Gélin. The 36-year-old was able to win over the French screen star Omar Sy for his film, which made millions of viewers laugh in “Pretty Best Friends”. This time, the laughing muscles of the audience are less stressed. Because what begins like a good mood film ends with a drama and the feeling that Hugo Gélin could have made more of the story.

Simple starting point

The starting point is simple: Samuel (Sy) works in a holiday club in the south of France. During the day he plays the charming captain on a chic motorboat, in the evening he takes care of the guests, especially the women, until early in the morning. He is a bon vivant and a womanizer.

One day, however, he and his two bed mates, whom Samuel had towed away the night before, are woken up by a crying baby. To his great surprise, one of his ex-girlfriends is at the door. She presses the newborn into his arms and disappears as unexpectedly as she appeared.

Panicked bon vivant

The bon vivant panic. He travels after Kristin to London to give her the little one back – in vain. Kristin has disappeared and Samuel is starting a new life in London: as a stuntman and a loving father.

Gélin primarily stages Sy in the role of super dad. Samuel turns his apartment into a kind of mini amusement park for little Gloria with a slide and a giant stuffed elephant to cuddle with. The former womanizer and bon vivant has become a loving father. After eight years, however, Kristin suddenly invades the father-daughter idyll and wants to have her child again. The fight for Gloria is finally fought in front of the judge: Clémence Poésy (left) as Kristin, Gloria Colston as Gloria and Omar Sy as Samuel. (Source: Julien Panie / TOBIS Film GmbH / dpa)

Roll written on the body

Sy himself is the father of four children, which is possibly one of the reasons why the role is tailor-made for him. In addition, the chemistry between him and Gloria Colston is right – who impresses in her role as a bright girl who has to constantly translate for her father, who is not very linguistically gifted.

On the other hand, the film weakens emotionally and remains too superficial in the drama and dialogues. In addition, there is a lack of fine-tuning in the transitions between good mood film and drama. So Samuel’s philosophical monologue at the end of the film seems more like an unmediated attachment: The father realizes that Gloria taught him not to be afraid of the responsibility of life.

The number 1 from France: Exclusive clip ” Suddenly Papa ” with Omar Sy Remake of the hit movie: Hollywood re-releases ” Pretty Best Friends ”

“Suddenly Papa” will be released on January 5th, 2017

The surprise success of the French comedy “Pretty Best Friends” was three years ago. It goes without saying that a new hit movie made in France was called for – and it is now also available with “Monsieur Claude and his daughters”. This film is currently thrilling all of France. The hit comedy will be released in German cinemas on July 24th.

More than ten million moviegoers in France alone, mostly positive reviews: the film by French director Philippe de Chauveron is well on the way to becoming the new box office hit of the year.

Similar to the successful French comedies “Willkommen bei den Sch’tis” and “Pretty best friends”, “Monsieur Claude and his daughters” deals with “political correctness” and prejudices. Again it’s about tolerance and the French, multicultural society.

Culture clash

The story of the new comedy: The notary Claude Verneuil and his wife Marie, a Catholic, conservative couple, have four beautiful daughters – and a “problem”: three of their girls are married to a man from a foreign culture. One husband is Muslim, one is Jewish and the third is from China.

Verneuil, who has gradually reached his tolerance limits due to the circumstances, is now placing all hopes in his last remaining daughter, who has not yet dared to go to the altar. Perhaps she will marry a “decent” French man, preferably a Catholic, the proud father hopes. When the fourth daughter actually announces that she wants to get married, there is a big surprise: Her future husband is Catholic, is called Charles and – is a black African.

Josefa Nereus has sex with men for money. The 29-year-old works as an escort lady. She does not see herself as a victim. She says, “I wanted more sex than I actually had.” And as uncomplicated as possible. She talks openly about her everyday life and how she became an escort lady.

Josefa says she has already tried a few professions. “But I could never say: yes, I want to do that for the long term now, that satisfies me.” Today the 29-year-old, who is not really called Josefa, works as an escort lady in Hamburg. She accompanies men, has sex with them and is well paid for it. Unimaginable for many women – a dream job for them, says Josefa.

Josefa was born in Saxony. “My father came from Cuba. He left us when I was one year old,” says the young woman with brown skin and frizzy black hair. Before the fall of the Wall, his mother will move to the west with her. “First I wanted to become a doctor and cure leprosy. When I was 15, I wanted to make films.” Later she rattles through her Abitur, is training to be a media designer. The mother was disappointed, she says.

No more contact with the mother

“When I was 19 I made my own film, which was also shown in our cinemas. I was so proud.” But her mother told friends that her daughter was studying biology. “That hurt a lot.” Now the two would no longer have contact. “My mother doesn’t know what I’m doing here.”

When she was paid for sex for the first time, she was 20, says Josefa. “A man spoke to me.” One talks. “And suddenly he asks me if he can lick my boots, he would pay me for it too.”

“I wanted more sex than I actually had”

Josefa became an escort lady two years ago. “I wanted more sex than I actually had. I like to have sex once a day, preferably twice. But going to clubs all the time was too exhausting for me. Then you talk for hours and in the end it doesn’t fit.”

Why shouldn’t she use her passion monetarily, as she puts it? “So I take total X, then I have to work less elsewhere and have more time.” Sum X means: two hours for 400 euros, a whole day for 1500 euros, plus expenses. “I have between zero and six customers per week, very different, about two to three on average.”

Josefa remembers her first customer well

To get started, Josefa worked for escort agencies. “My boss at the time told me straight away: only offer what you would like to offer.” Josefa remembers her first real customer well. “I was really excited, I didn’t know: what would happen now?” At first she had horror images in her head. “The cliché that the man is attacking you.” At the door of the hotel room, “a completely normal man” stood.

Now works as a self-employed. “Becoming Josefa is a certain ritual: I shower, take care of myself, put on something nice, hold-up stockings and so on. That is sensual, that puts me in the mood.”

Many escort customers are businessmen who are alone in the hotel in the evening. But police officers, clergymen, politicians and bakers have also been with her. She not only accompanies the gentlemen to the restaurant or to bed, but is also a buddy and suggestion box, says Josefa. “I’m always surprised at what they reveal to me that I know about: they won’t tell your wife that.”

“Dirty Talk” is very popular

Role play and “dirty talk” are very popular with their customers. But there are also annoying customers, Josefa admits. For example, those who “suddenly find it uncomfortable to be with a woman who has sex every day” – that hurts. “I don’t blame anyone if they only have sex once a month.”

In her own words, Josefa has not yet experienced violence. But she doesn’t want to trivialize anything: “There are also men, like those who oppose prostitution always say, who believe they are buying a woman.
